Extreme Quilters is a group of contemporary textile artists in Ventura County and beyond who produce a range of beautiful and unusual quilted, pieced, embellished and hand-stitched art pieces.  Along with artwork for sale, there will be a boutique of items hand made by artists in the show.

Among the unusual pieces on the wall will be a three-dimensional puppet theatre, with supplies for visitors and their children to make their own puppets.  There will also a quilt celebrating ham radio operators and incorporating a working ham radio antenna.  A special section of the artist’s self portraits will also be on display.

Artists participating in the show include Eileen Alber, Betty Amador, Loris Bogue, Pamela Christner, Celeste Covas, Joan De Young, Jerry Ferguson, Linda W. Fisher, Sandy Harper, Margarete Heinisch, Lynn Jurss, Leone Keegan, Rodi Ludlum, Janice Prezzano, Sue Rasmussen, Christina Rocha, Diana Shore, Sandra Sigal, Linda Stone, Florence Stroup and Lynne Willcox.
