Artist Reception: Sunday, October 4, 2015, 3 pm to 5 pm

The Extreme Quilter’s annual show will be here soon.  Excitement is mounting. The members are hard at work putting finishing touches on their masterpieces.  You will be thrilled with what has been created this year.  Some of the artists created masterpieces inspired by the likes of Picasso, Rothko and Klimt.  It’s fascinating seeing how popular paintings can be reinterpreted by fiber artists.

The Woman in Gold is coming to the EQ 2015 Fiber Art Show.  While not the original painting of Adele Bloch Bauer by Gustav Klimt, our very own Linda W. Fisher has created a name for herself turning Gustav Klimt paintings into stunning works of fiber art.

Come to the annual show Art from Cloth being held from September 29 – October 14, 2015 from 10–5 daily at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery.  You will be so glad you attended!

Be sure to check out the gift shop.  It will be filled with original art made by our very own Extreme Quilters.
The Thousand Oaks Community Gallery is at 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park, just off the 101 freeway, next to the Newbury Park Library.  The show is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Free admission.
