We are again asking for your donation - an art quilt approximately 12" square (but we accept slightly smaller, slightly larger, and non-square pieces as well). Your artwork will have both a thumbnail and full-screen version, with a description and a link to your website. We can accept only ONE donation per artist. It's a great way to support SAQA's programs and exhibitions and promote your work at the same time!
Please put a label on the back of your quilt with at least your name and the title. It is also helpful if you include contact information or your web site on your label so the collector can contact you in the future. We encourage everyone to sign their work on the front or at the very least, place a label on the back. It would be most helpful to attach a small (2 or 3") sleeve or some other way to accommodate hanging/displaying your work.

Please ship your quilt using some kind of tracking system such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS Delivery confirmation. With 250 - 300 quilts expected to arrive at Pat's home, it takes much valuable time for Pat to email each of you when the quilt arrives. If you use a tracking number, your work is easier to trace if it doesn't arrive in Albuquerque.
If you are in the US, the fastest (generally only 2-3 days) and cheapest way to send your donation is by USPS Priority Mail. You can send it cheaper by using Click n Ship, a free online service of USPS at

If you would like to have it appear on SAQA's website right away, email a good quality jpg (no larger than 800 x 800 pixels, with the background edited to pure white or cropped completely to the edges of the square - a white wall is not the same thing!), with your name, the title and your website's URL directly to:

AUCTION CALENDAR AND PRICES:
This year's Auction will begin on Monday, September 20th at 2:00 Eastern and conclude on Saturday, October 9 at 2:00 Eastern. Price points will again be: $750, $550, $350, $250, $150 and $75. Unsold work will be placed on the SAQA website for a month and then returned to the artist.
