Other Opportunities - a great idea is to do a "group" quilt -
From: Cindy Maxion <email@example.com>
We have just completed an interior design package for the North Island Navy Child Development Project in Coronado. It is a new 14,000 sq. ft. building that has recently started construction and should take about 8 months to complete. Artwork is needed for a lobby wall measuring 19' x 12 '. A quilt seems perfect because it relates to the feeling of comfort and the population, which is infant to 5 years old. I attended Emily Richardson's lecture looking for a quilt artist who would like to be considered for the project. We have selected the finishes and color palette including a fabric that is on the sofa below the art piece. The wall receiving the art piece is white with nearby colors of pumpkin, pastel gold and plum. The client wants something childlike and sophisticated but not childish. Please contact me for more details. Please pass this email on to anyone who may be interested. I will be making a presentation in a couple of weeks to the navy. You can call me for further questions at my home office 619.668.5678 or my cell 619.742.5677.
